Available activities include sightseeing, photography, golf, tennis, hiking along a variety of trails including the Appalachian Trail, biking, or trout fishing in the many lakes and streams. You may also enjoy gem digging, shopping outlets, arts & crafts, antiques, flea markets, gifts and souvenirs, snow skiing, horseback riding along the mountain ridges and slopes, swimming, picnicking, gambling (at Harrah’s Casino in Cherokee, NC), touring gardens, visiting historic sites, apple picking, and fine dining. 

Or, if you prefer, simply kick back and take it easy! The atmosphere and accommodations at CradleCrest provide a perfect environment painted with beautiful, pristine scenery – ideal for total rest and relaxation! You may wish to use the cabin swing or rocking chairs while you enjoy captivating serenity and calm which can furnish a tranquil escape from reality.
